Sycamore Tree Church has a casual and relaxed “come as you are” atmosphere. From jeans,
shorts and t-shirts to suits and ties, the group that gathers on Sundays at the corner of North
& Fourth feel comfortable just being themselves.

Every Sunday you’ll find the coffee on at 9:30 a.m. in time to have a cup before Bible Class.
The donuts usually arrive just in time to have one with your coffee. At 10 a.m. you’ll be
invited to sit in on one of several Bible classes for everyone from age 2 through 102. Check
our events page to find out what current topics we’re discussing.
Folks at Sycamore Tree Church love to welcome guests as well as those who’ve been
attending for a good while. So from 10:45 until 11:00 a.m. you’ll find everyone sharing coffee,
donuts and conversation while the wee ones go to the nursery. When the music starts at 11
a.m. the sanctuary begins to fill up and for about 15 minutes the congregation celebrates by
singing or listening to music that sounds a lot like what you hear on the Christian pop and
country radio stations. Some people stand, others sit. Some like to sing and clap to the beat
while many enjoy listening quietly.

Next you’ll hear Pastor Steve Modranski bring a message that relates to life in the Ohio Valley
in the 21st Century while kids ages 4-12 are invited to their own learning time at Veggie
Tales Children’s Church. But don’t just read about it here! Drop in any Sunday morning and
experience the celebration for yourself!
